Step 1:
Soak up stain with a white absorbent material.
Step 2:
Apply non-acetone nail polish remover onto a white
absorbent material then blot. Do not apply the solvent
directly on to the carpet.
Step 3:
Apply a small amount of dry-cleaning or alcohol solvent
onto a white absorbent material and blot onto the gum. Do
not apply the solvent directly on to the carpet.
Step 4:
Spray the spot with 1 tablespoon of ammonia and ½ cup of water.
Apply for less then a minute then blot.
Step 5:
Apply 1/3 cup of white vinegar and 2/3 cup of water.
Apply for less then a minute then blot with a white
absorbent material.
Step 6:
Spray lightly with cold water. Apply a pad of non-graphic
white paper towels. Weight down the paper towels
with a non-staining object.
Step 7:
Vacuum to restore the texture once the carpet is dry.
