Procedure |
Step 1: Dry completely then shatter. Use a blunt spoon to remove the excess mud then vacuum. Step 2: Blot the spot with ¼ teaspoon of Dishwashing liquid and 1 cup of warm water. Allow the solution to remain for at least five minutes then blot with a white absorbent material. Step 3: Spray the spot with 1 tablespoon of ammonia and ½ cup of water. Apply for less then a minute then blot. Step 4: Spray lightly with cold water. Apply a pad of non-graphic white paper towels. Weight down the paper towels with a non-staining object.
Step 5:
Vacuum to restore the texture once the carpet is dry.

Tip |
Do not apply too much detergent because the residue will contribute to quick re-soiling. |
