Procedure |
Step 1: Soak up stain with a white absorbent material or use a blunt spoon to remove the excess chocolate then vacuum. Step 2: Blot the spot with ¼ teaspoon of Dishwashing liquid and 1 cup of cold water. Allow the solution to remain for at least five minutes then blot with a white absorbent material. Step 3: Spray the spot with 1 tablespoon of ammonia and ½ cup of water. Apply for less then a minute then blot. Step 4: Apply 1/3 cup of white vinegar and 2/3 cup of water. Apply for less then a minute then blot with a white absorbent material. Step 5: Spray lightly with cold water. Apply a pad of non-graphic white paper towels. Weight down the paper towels with a non-staining object.
Step 6:
Vacuum to restore the texture once the carpet is dry.
